Customer Service Representative

New Castle, DE

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answer phone in customer service and take orders for products.
  • Suggest product to accounts when asked.
  • Use the internet to research new brands so they can impart product knowledge to customers when asked.
  • Assist salespeople and sales managers with inquiries through email related to accounts.
  • Provide monthly pricing for selected club accounts.
  • Handle/Direct Customer Complaints.
  • Recon daily sales activity.
  • Register daily sales activity.
  • Balance Control sheets.
  • Run loads for next day delivery/Prepare corresponding paperwork.
  • Handle Sales requests for samples/vendor purchases.
  • Write orders for Special Events.
  • Coordinate delivery questions/problems with the warehouse.
  • Notify customers and salespeople when orders are not being delivered for various reasons.
  • Print invoices for deliveries including hot shot orders.
  • Print paperwork for picking orders.
  • Coordinate with A/R concerning accounts with accounting issues.
  • Issue credits for any mistakes on orders discovered after invoice has been reconned.
  • Put invoice book together.
  • Write orders and collect payment for Standard employee purchases.
